Our taproom is a 1940’s era warehouse with original exposed wood trusses that originally housed a sheet metal shop. In the mid 50's it became “the Mighty Midget Syrup Company” which sold fountain soda syrup, but the name later changed in the 70’s. It then housed a used tire distributor, a series of garages, an artist’s studio and even an intrepid lawyer’s office before becoming Grand Avenue Brewing Company. Our taproom has a great vibe and it's the perfect place for a beer, a snack and good conversation with friends and neighbors.
Grand Avenue Brewing Company is a small independent 7BBL brewery serving downtown Phoenix’s Lower Grand Avenue Arts & Historic district. All beers are hand-crafted from only natural ingredients and are unfiltered for added body and flavor. There is nothing like fresh draft beer. It’s just not the same from a bottle or a can.

A flavorful American style Red Ale, well hopped with nice malt. Very drinkable and slightly hoppier than an Irish Red.
The cream ale style originated on the East coast and was designed by ale breweries to compete with popular light lagers produced by lager breweries of the day. We love this "lawnmower" beer.

First in what will be Grand Avenue's ongoing single-hop IPA Series and a brewery favorite. The two ingredient malt bill will remain the same. With its high alpha acid, El Dorado hops work well for both bittering and flavoring. This beer showcases the unique tropical fruit flavor, aroma and and nutty bitterness of El Dorado hops.
Well hopped and an abundance of roasted barley give this dry stout its roasted coffee notes and complexity.

We were feeling nostalgic for the trio of Simcoe, Columbus, and Cascade hops and so we whipped up this classic American Style IPA. We know you're going to love it as much as we do.
A mildly tart and extremely refreshing raspberry beer that we briefly kettle sour to lighten then ferment a second time with ale yeast and over 100 pounds of real raspberries. The result is a very pleasant thirst quenching beverage that's just in time for summer.
A generous amount of real honey and blackberries go in this "beer" which is an ancient style between a mead and an ale. Thou dost like it.

We took our Grand Avenue Stout and aged it in a Cabernet Barrel. The result is a completely different beer from the original which is a "barrel sour" with hints of red wine and oak and a delightful tart and dry finish.
A big porter fermented with lager yeast. It starts off sweet like a porter, but the ale yeast gives it a clean finish. We love this style which originated in Poland.
